JUST A SWANGIN...

OK I KNOW - STUPID TITLE but for some reason that STUPID SONG came to mind while I was making this picture collage!!! I bet you are singing it now aren't ya!! haha

Since Friday ended up an ABSOOOLUTTTEEE beautiful day, we decided to take Braden to Spring Park in Tuscumbia. I LOVE THIS PARK! We were hoping to ride the train through the park but because it was raining Friday morning they had cancelled the train for the day. :(

I was soooo upset but as you can tell from the pics that Braden had a blast on the swings!! Hopefully we can go back soon and ride the train and of course I will post pics when we do.

HOMECOMING PARADE

Friday was the LCHS Homecoming Parade in downtown Rogersville!! Brad took off early to go with me and Braden to the parade. Braden watched it but didn't act like he was too impressed!! The only time he perked up was when the band went through. He loves music!!

NEON DAY

Well, this has not been a great homecoming dress-up week for us. Wednesday was NEON DAY which doesn't leave many choices in the little boy area. I was just about to give up finding a neon shirt in the boys department at Target when I spotted this Halloween t shirt with the NEON skeleton. Perfect!!! Braden you will thank mommy someday because you just don't know how close you came to wearing a little girls bright pink shirt with flowers on it!!

ONE TIRED LITTLE BOY

This is not very common at our house these days!! Braden is usually too busy playing or watching "Young and the Restless" (yes I got him hooked on that show) after school but today was a different story. On Tuesdays he receives PT, OT and speech all in one day which wears him out as you can see. I thought he was just being very GOOD (haha) and watching tv but when I finally decided that he was being too still I had to check it out!!!!

By the way, today was Hawaiian Day which we did not participate in. I just couldn't make myself send him to school in his swim trunks (which is the only Hawaiian looking thing he has) when it is 45 degrees outside!!! Don't get me wrong I am not complaining about the weather. I LOVE these cool SUNNY days!! Happy FALL!!!
