OH HAPPY DAY!

DECEMBER DAILY #(don't know i've been too mad at internet to remember!!)

CATALOGS & COOKIES

The day started off as kind of a bummer day until I went to the mailbox. When you go to the box and pull out ALL 3 POTTERY BARN Catalogs you know it's a good day!!! (well for me it is)

I am obsessed with PB!!! I love their style but hate their prices. I love getting ideas from the catalog pics and then shopping for cheaper versions at Target & Hobby Lobby. My best friend Leigh Ann says that my house looks like Pottery Barn THREW UP in it! Love ya Leigh Ann!!!

Then as if the catalogs weren't enough, I made homemade Nestle Tollhouse cookies! YUM YUM Let's just say these won't last long around here.

PS - Has anyone else been having problems with blogger or is it just our internet service????

BASKETBALL & TECHNOLOGY

Let me just start off by saying that I am very, very, very, upset at my internet. We use what is called netspeednow which is the only high speed internet option for us. The tower for this service is in our subdivision so when it's good it's lightning fast (faster than DSL) but when it's bad it's slower than dial-up. :( So guess what for the past two days it was BAD! I am upset that is has messed up my goal of posting EVERYDAY! Oh well enough venting!

December Daily 3: Basketball

Braden was invited to play/participate in the Upward BBall Program at FBC in Rogersville. This is a new experience for him and he hasn't figured out what is going on but however he is loving the interaction with the kids. It is such a joy watching these kids play. They are having a BLAST!! Their first game is next Sat. (Dec. 12th) and of course I will have lots of pics to share!

Leanne here is the Reindeer on my front door. I got it last weekend at Trinity's in Athens (on the square).

December Daily 2 - Decorating

Well I think winter has arrived early in the South!!! December 1st and it's 29 outside!!!! I hope this isn't a sign for what's to come the rest of the month!! This is also the first day of my December Daily project so since it's sooooo cold I decided to take pics of the beautiful frost we had this morning. I do wish it would snow WITHOUT shutting everything down. You know around here 1 inch of snow and the world comes to a stop!!

DECEMBER DAILY PROJECT

Hello bloggers - I have a project for all of you!! I originally saw this idea on Ali Edwards (a well-known famous scrapbooker) website. What December Daily consists of is really easy just document your daily lives in December. Well instead of making an actual scrapbook I thought I would try a digital blog version. So I encourage each of you to take a Picture(s) of the Day every day in December and post about it on your blog!! It could be about anything from your children to decorations or even something you baked (of course include the recipe)!!! If you would like to join me on this project just leave a message in the comments. Also, please feel free to pass this project info to your friends and family. FAMILY, FOOD, & FUN

WOW, what a busy day!! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with all of our families!!

First stop: Mitchell Family for lunch

Second stop: Daddy's house to visit with him and Betty. Daddy and Betty were married on Nov. 14th.(hopefully I will have some pics soon of the wedding) I am very thankful that Daddy was able to marry such a sweet and wonderful lady. I wish them all the happiness in the world.

Third stop: Glass family for supper
